” I had 2 cortisone injections in my knee that didn’t bring any relief. I knew a knee replacement was in my future. Then I saw there was a knee replacement workshop at the Natatorium. Attending was the best thing I ever did. Lee explained about knee replacement and everything related including prehab and rehab. After the workshop, I went for an evaluation and it was decided that prehab (physical therapy before surgery) would benefit me. I did 8 sessions before my knee replacement. Made me much stronger so rehab after surgery was easier. The accomplishment I felt when I would do those leg lifts today that yesterday seemed impossible or when I didn’t need that walker.

” The caring staff listened to my complaints and symptoms. Lee developed a personalized exercise plan I can use at home and does not require a gym.

My pain level is greatly reduced so I am requiring less medication. I feel more energized since I do not have the nagging chronic backache. I am able to be on my feet longer without increased pain.

All staff members knew my treatment plan and were there to supervise me very promptly with little or no wasted time between exercises. I appreciate that the staff was very considerate of my limitations and did not push me beyond those limits. “

I had lost range of motion in my left shoulder from an old injury that I did nothing about. A more recent fall on the golf course left daily activities that I took for granted impossible or very painful to perform.

Now that twelve therapy sessions have passed with the incredible staff, I now have my range of motion back with my shoulder. I can now put my sports coat, button-up shirt, and belt on without pain.
